Princess Kate's Special Video Release: A Celebration of Nature's Beauty
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has released a special video after her family's move to their new 'forever home' at Forest Lodge. This video, the third edition of her Mother Nature series, showcases the untamed beauty of the changing seasons across the UK. It features children from Farley Junior Academy in Luton, supported by the children's charity Go Beyond, who offer access to nature and residential trips for young people in difficult circumstances.
The video, filmed in Windsor Great Park, shows the children, accompanied by the Princess, trying outdoor cooking and sharing food and stories around a bonfire. It was released alongside a message signed off by 'C', emphasizing the beauty of change and the natural cycles of life. The Princess narrates, highlighting the importance of reflection and letting go, just as trees shed their canopies for winter.
The video's release comes as the family settles into their new home in Windsor, a place they seem to adore. The residence, Forest Lodge, underwent a £1.5 million renovation to retain its period details, including original stonework and marble fireplaces. Planning applications for minor alterations were submitted in June 2025, with the future King reportedly funding the property and renovations himself.
This move marks a new chapter for the family, offering more space and a sense of permanence, away from the palace walls. It's a heartwarming gesture towards a more natural and reflective lifestyle, a theme that aligns with the Princess's Mother Nature series.
